Embracing AI and Shaping the Future of Technology
We had the privilege of attending the 19th annual MASIT ICT Chamber of commerce Conference, an inspiring gathering dedicated to exploring AI’s role in reshaping industries and innovation. This year’s theme, Embracing AI and Shaping the Future of Technology brought together thought leaders and technology enthusiasts eager to dive into AI’s impact on jobs, management, and society at large.
Our Chief Architect, Simeon Petkov, took center stage in the panel “AI: A Threat or an Opportunity for Jobs”, where he shared thought-provoking insights on AI’s potential as both a transformative force and a unique challenge for employment. His session sparked a lively conversation on whether AI will create new types of jobs or disrupt traditional roles – prompting attendees to consider how we can prepare for a future where AI is fully integrated into the workforce.
Following Simeon’s session, Sofche Jovanovska M.Sc., NLP Coach, NLP Trainer, our General Manager for North Macedonia, joined the panel “Artificial Intelligence-Enhanced Management: Redefining Managerial Roles”. Sofche discussed how AI is reshaping leadership by enhancing data-driven decision-making and refining managerial responsibilities, from strategic planning to team management. Her perspectives highlighted the new competencies managers will need as they work alongside AI tools.
AIBEST Beard it Forward
In Movember we dropped the razors and let those beards flow! Scalefocus joined the AIBEST Beard it Forward: Grooming Academic Excellence fundraising campaign in Bulgaria. Inspired by the Movember movement, this campaign invites us to grow beards and mustaches – not only as a fun way to raise awareness for men’s health but, most importantly, to support a meaningful cause – to help foster educational opportunities and excellence for students from grades 10 to 12 and first-year university students from foster care. Every beard grown, every vote cast and every point donated goes directly toward empowering these young students on their academic journey, thanks to our partner organization, Blagotvoritel Foundation.

Nikola Netzov, our Senior .NET Software Engineer, captivated the audience with his talk, “AI Writing Our Code: Real Experience, Real Opportunities, Real Data,” offering a practical look at how AI tools are reshaping software development. Internet Heroes: Staying Safe online
Our security superheroes – Radostina, Andea and Krasimir put on their capes to fulfill an important mission – to educate our colleague’s kids why it’s important to stay vigilant and safe online! From talking about computer bugs (and what do they look like? 🐞) to protecting their data and why they shouldn’t use game hacks – the little ones had enlightening sessions to continue their digital adventures safely.
