Nikola’s rise through the ranks has been nothing short of spectacular. In 2022, he dominated the Spanish Formula 4 Championship, delivering an awe-inspiring 13 victories, 18 podiums, and 17 fastest laps across just 21 races—an achievement that shattered records and turned heads across the racing world. With 400 points in the bag, he wasn’t just winning; he was redefining excellence. No wonder he caught the eye of none other than Fernando Alonso, whose A14 Management team took him under their wing.
Then came 2023, when Nikola made history yet again. At just 16, he became the third youngest driver ever to score points in a Formula 3 debut season. Competing on the world’s biggest circuits against the fiercest young talent, he proved that his skill behind the wheel wasn’t just promising – it was electric.
The Bulgarian Lion Roars in Formula 3
2024 was a season of growth, challenges, and unforgettable triumphs. Nikola finished 11th in the overall driver’s standings with 75 points, showing the world that he’s a force to be reckoned with. But beyond the numbers, the real highlights were the victories – stepping onto the top step of the podium in Monaco, Spielberg, and Budapest. Talk about a statement season! It was a year of classic racing highs and lows, but through it all, Nikola showcased the tenacity and talent that have defined his career.
Gearing Up for a New Season
Now, as the 2025 Formula 3 season looms on the horizon, Nikola is laser-focused on the challenge ahead. With the first race set to take place in Melbourne, Australia, from March 14-16, he has been putting in the hard work during pre-season testing – and the results speak for themselves.
On day two of testing, Nikola absolutely dominated the track, setting the fastest time of the day with a blistering 1:26.618 in the morning and cementing his place at the top with a 1:27.249 in the afternoon. His confidence is sky-high, and so is ours. With a brand-new generation of Formula 3 cars hitting the grid this year, he’s ready to harness every ounce of speed and skill to make this season his best yet.
