Our Big June in FinTech
June was all about connection and innovation for our Financial Services team – and Amsterdam was the place to be! We hit two major industry events: the European Digital Finance Conference, where our Director of Financial Services, Jasper Neve, introduced Scalefocus’s personal AI financial assistant – a game-changer for banks looking to level up personalization.
We were there as part of The Banking 50, one of Europe’s largest communities for financial innovators, with 85,000+ members from 60+ countries.
Then at Money20/20 Europe, we joined the conversation on hyper-personalisation, embedded finance, and how our white-label mobile wallet and digital onboarding solutions help banks reduce drop-offs and deliver next-level customer experiences.

We Helped the Next Generation Get Smart About Money
On the heels of our FinTech adventures, we turned our focus to the future of finance – the very near future. For International Children’s Day, we launched an initiative to help the kids of our colleagues take their first steps into the world of money.
From a fun, hands-on session at our Sofia office to interactive online workshops across all locations, we made sure there was something for every age group (parents included!). Together with our partners, The Little Chief – финансова грамотност за деца and WVP Fund Management – AD Skopje , we helped young minds explore saving, spending, setting goals, and making smart choices. Because it’s never too early to build financial literacy.
LEAD Excellence
How We Took Leadership Skills to New Heights
As part of our LEAD Excellence program, Scalefocus colleagues recently put their leadership skills to the test in the Everest Simulation – a dynamic experience packed with tough calls, shifting priorities, and fast-paced teamwork.
From navigating tricky decisions to building trust step by step, our teams explored what it really means to lead under pressure (spoiler: it takes strategy and collaboration). From Idea to Prototype
Our Hackathon Win Against Burnout
At the recent ppl:ai – The Playground for Human-AI Creativity hackathon, organized by launchlabs Sofia, our Scalefocus team rolled up their sleeves and delivered a fully functional prototype of an AI-powered solution to combat burnout. Out of nine teams, only two built working prototypes – ours and our friends at Paysafe!
A huge shoutout to Nedjalko Milenkov, Nikola Aleksandrov, and Simona Ivanova for their brilliant work and collaboration. It was a day packed with innovation, teamwork, and a glimpse at how human-AI creativity can make a real difference. We’re excited to see what’s next!
Scalefocus Runs on Caffeine, Team Spirit
… and Maybe Beer
Over the past weeks, our teams swapped keyboards for running shoes and took on not one but two Business Run relays!
At Sofia Business Run, we fielded two squads: #NeverSettle, who powered into the top 15% (46th of 318 teams!), and #AchieveMoreTogether, who showed what teamwork looks like, crossing the line ahead of over 100 other teams.
Then at Varna Business Run, #MakeAnImpact didn’t just show up – they owned it, racing to an epic 5th place out of 79 (that’s top 6%!) and earning those celebratory beers.
