ScaleFocus represented Bulgaria at the GITEX 2015 in Dubai
“Over the next 10 years the use of mobile devices will have such an impact on people and organizations, as the Internet has impacted our lives for the past 20 years”, shared ScaleFocus, who represented Bulgaria at one of the top three IT exhibitions in the world GITEX. We unveiled four new solutions related to business mobility: a mobile application for insurance (MobIns), a web-based solution for tracking and planning delivery routes (Focus Dispatch), an end-to-end solution for courier businesses (Focus Courier) and a leave management system for automated request and approval of days-off (Focus R&R).
The International Exhibition of Information Services and Technology ‘GITEX’ is the largest in the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia, and is one of the three largest in the world and is organized annually since 1981 in Dubai, UAE. The exhibition was held from 18 to 22 October and attracted over 142,000 IT experts from 150 countries and over 80% of the biggest brands in the ICT world.
“Mobility” means to work anywhere, anytime and from any device. People and organizations will increasingly work “on the fly”. Days working behind the desk are over: mobile technologies are applied in almost every important area. According to a study, for each third of business leaders (33%), mobility increases employee productivity. 31% reported improvements on workflow in the organization and 30% – in customer satisfaction. Using the desktop as the primary means to work will decrease from 41% now to 6% after 5 years. Smart phones, tablets and laptops will replace them.
Besides Mobility, GITEX outlined Big Data, Cloud and Security as the three other most important trends in the IT world.
