ScaleFocus Will Take Part in a Prestigious Environment Competition
A couple of months ago ScaleFocus was invited to participate in the European Enterprises Climate Cup organized by the Sofia Energy Agency SOFENA. In accord with our corporate policies of environmental and social responsibility we found out this competition will be a great occasion to examine and improve the measures to reduce our carbon footprint.
Through the whole competition ScaleFocus’ team should reduce its’ electricity consumption and also has to develop motivation for the whole team in order to improve our carbon footprint. This includes various activities educating and motivating the whole staff to make changes in all our energy consumption habits.
ScaleFocus is looking forward to achieve our aims and win the European Enterprises Climate Cup.
About the competition
The European Enterprises Climate Cup (EECC) is an EU-funded project that aims to support small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) in their goal to be front-runners in energy efficiency management. By participating in a Europe-wide competition, they are provided with by cost-free energy advice and good-practice sharing.
The European Enterprises Climate Cup is based on the successful campaign European Citizens Climate Cup (ECCC), which was organized in 10 countries and also funded by the European Commission. Within this project, almost 10,000 European citizens took part in the energy saving competition for households. On average, participants saved 5 percent of their heating energy and electricity consumption, while the ECCC winning households achieved savings up to 50 percent.
